Urticaria. According to my mom, it’s pronouced eh-tee-care-ruh. In layman terms it’s hives and in Chinese, I think it’s hong mao. Irritating shit.
I was at my laptop last night, typing happily at my BGS proposal, when I noticed that I had been scratching the whole of my back, furiously for the past 10min. I knew something wasn’t right, haha, and it turned out to be urticaria. It’s damn itchy lah, and I had to go to my aunt’s place to get calamine lotion. Worse of all, I couldn’t sleep from 4-6am due to constant scratching! It was frigging itchy! I only managed to sleep after taking medicine. Haha, the great things in life happen only when your mom’s a nurse! Like free medication!
Aargh, damn itchy. But I can’t scratch. Just about the second-longest distance in the world.
