All I need is an AS Revised Edition textbook. And well, I’m kind of desperate for it since there ain’t many used copies around since most of my friends have already sold it. Then Nicholas found a seller for me. That fool tried to rip me off!
Basically I offered to buy the text for $15, since he had written his answers in the book. He said $21, so I decided to meet halfway at $18. But he said “$20 please“. Well, I didn’t really care, so I told him I was fine with $20 then. But he had the cheek to tell me his friend was offering $21.50 and so would only sell me for $21.
What kind of haggling tactic is that?! Trying to haggle prices with me!? Do you think I was born yesterday!? A really stupid person. I told him I won’t go higher than $20, and he told me he would consider.
Actually, the deal is off. You think I stupid? Haha. I will rather get a new book than let you have the satisfaction of ripping me off! In fact, when you call me tomorrow, I will tell you I got it for cheap! Anyway, I really should have checked the prices with my friends beforehand. $20 is too expensive for a book so thin. What was I thinking? =)
