Impromptu outings are fun. Oh well, that’s what two bored friends do during the summer holidays. Haha. Brought Amy to Causeway Point (where we discovered Woodlands is a really really big place) to catch Take The Lead, while I could also borrow the design books I needed for Convocation. Take The Lead has quite a bad plot. It’s the clichéd white-man-goes-to-ghetto-school-and-changes-their-life crap. Haha. The predictable stuff all happened — young man tempted by crime but finally does the right thing; stupid education system losing its sense of direction; ‘witty’ quotes made by the lead character, in this case Antonio Banderas. Frankly speaking, I don’t really care for the plot and all.
I came for the dancing!
The dancing was nice, and thankfully there were plentiful action. It was quite interesting to see hip-hop integrated with ballroom dancing, although the whole dancing is life crap should have just been canned. Haha. Makes me wonder if I should join Salsa.
