And what do you know? It’s been a year already. Yes, one whole year (ok, 12.5 months) since we started getting to know each other. Although admittedly, the circumstances weren’t the best. We happened to be two really free people (me with no work during the weekdays, you being extremely bored at work) who had the time to chat on MSN all day. And truth to be told, I really needed someone to talk to, an outlet for me. And thus that fateful period started a possibly eternal indebtedness to Miss Quek. So yes, I’m forever going to be your chauffeur (but not your passenger) and my hard disk will also be at your beckoning. =)

With indebtedness comes gratitude. Haha. It wasn’t exactly the worst period in my life, but it was the one period I really felt I needed an outlet, where I needed someone to be there for me. Yeah, no more being the guy whom you could depend on (no matter how bad you treat me) — it was time for me to be selfish. I’m thankful that you were around! Haha. And what an outlet I must say. We indulged in each other’s craziness so much, we became quite the scandalous duo in Convocation and beyond. Haha. Those were fun times, weren’t it?

The past year has been filled with great times I guess. I mean, along the way came the endearing irritant Jasmine Chua with her hopeless Chinese, and with her best friend David. Haha. Seriously, this is a weird quartet. David and I, I can understand, although it’s quite a surprise in a way. Two quite different people, yet with similar interests and aspirations, and a common ability to agree to disagree. And then there’s Jasmine. She never fails to irritate me. Wait, you two never fail to irritate me. Haha. I have no idea how I manage to stay sane in this group of us. Or maybe I never needed to be sane.

We come to the point when I suddenly feel sian of blogging. Haha. But I mean, the whole point of this, is really for me to thank you. You have been the most important figure in my life this past year. I mean, what else can I say? Haha. You’re my favourite scandal can? =) Here’s to our friendship!
