And yes, one of my best friends is now a married woman. Not that I had a wedding dinner to attend, but dear Lai Ping has already registered marriage. And of course, as I would like to believe I was one of the last persons to know about it. Haha. I mean, we’re like how buddy, and I’m not one of the first to know about it?!
And so I kept suan-ing her throughout dinner at Pasta Cafe, Ngee Ann City. Kexin was there too and we had a fantastic time just bitching over dinner. We bitched/chatted over everything lah! From the pathetic portions of food (the smallest in the restaurant), to Lai Ping’s auntie status, to the people we disliked in secondary school, to our love lives, to our career prospects and well, how Lai Ping didn’t tell me about her marriage. Haha.
I really wouldn’t expect her to settle down so quickly. Haha, but I’m not surprised given her nature. After all she ain’t the wishy-washy type, and has always been pretty decisive. Which means she probably is in really good hands. And as a friend, that’s all I really need to know.
Besides of course, your wedding ceremony and housewarming party dates.
