Learning How to Catch

And so today I missed two pancake catches, and about five 50/50 one-handed catches. Haha. Today was Pacey Fu Cup, where all batches since the club’s inception gather to compete in a friendly competition. Just about the most fun activity on our calendar! It has been a long time since so many people had gathered, and it was such a sight! Masses of bodies in 4 distinctly different jerseys. =)
It’s really heartening to see us grow as players. Sure, we were rusty, but we proved our mettle today by playing smart. And then there are the year 1s who really are a talented bunch. Haha, we bullied them on the field, but they did surprise everyone by really playing well, even against the senior teams. What can I say? I have been a good mentor. =)
The week to come is one to settle all my projects. Haha. 4 more weeks till school ends! Woohoo!
