Happy new year!
My sleeping late nights the past few days were all in preperation for this day — Cindy’s birthday party! Or rather, staying overnight and playing games all night long. At first, I was pissed man, because I was duped into reaching White Sands at 6.15pm, anticipating to meet Junyang and Kin Wee there who I thought would be late. Yeah, they were, but those asses didn’t take public transport but instead hitched a ride from Jiahao. Sian lah, at least tell me I’m alone lah. Wa lau, White Sands ain’t big, can?
Anyway, I got onto Jiahao’s car at White Sands, and we made our way to Aloha Loyang. When we reached there, the security were asking us where we were going, and Junyang told him the address of the place! And the guard went scolding us. Haha, damn funny lah. Aloha Loyang’s bungalow’s are damn big! And we didn’t even go up and explore the rooms! Cindy’s party’s turnout was surprisingly huge, especially given that it was New Year’s Eve. Great bunch of friends, I guess. =) I think the turnout was the largest (among Endurance) for all the parties bar Liting’s one. Well, it helped when the Spice were in town. Man, all the girls were in thei final year already! Haha.
After eating Cindy’s cake, only Clarence, Rensheng, Junyang, Kin Wee and I decided to stay over. But it was daman hot, and we had to share a air-con room with Cindy’s other friends. Not convenient, and we had no idea where to go. Just like Clarke Quay last week. Haha. In the end, rather reluctantly Junyang allowed us to go to his place. Well done! Which meant that at 11.15pm we had to fast-march all the way from Aloha Loyang to Pasir Ris interchange to take 58. Luckily we had 58, if not we would have to take 53 and still had to walk from the bus stop to Chiltern Park.
Originally, we planned to have a Winning Eleven league, with the winner drinking Clarence’s Bailey’s Irish Cream. Well, it was the ugliest one ever! you pour it out, and out comes clumps of coagulated liqour! And since it was brown, it looked utterly disgusting! Yucks! Turned out that it had expired for 4 years. What in the world!? Haha. It was very, very disgusting. Yucks. Wasted then, so for 6 hours (12.30 - 6.30!) we played Winning Eleven and dai dee. It was simple — whoever won at dai dee (3 people) would be next in line for Winning Eleven, while the loser at Winning Eleven would have to join the dai dee group. If it was a draw game, then both players would be playing dai dee. It was even better than gambling, as everybody simply wanted to play Winning. You should have looked at Clarence’s face when he went without dai dee for 8 rounds, each time being agonizingly close to victory. Classic.
Went home at 7, and slept at 8. Man, still sleepy. Haha. How the hell does Jialing sleep so much?! I want to learn!
