This week has been a week of Hearts and Solitaire. Yes, you read it right — the two card games I know how to play on Windows. The lack of an internet connection has made chatty me a really bored person, and I’ve resorted to learning how to play Hearts well. And so I have, and I am obsessed to the point when I’m swearing at my darn laptop when I made a mistake (as various members of the SMU community might have witnessed.)
So last night I browsed through my Corporate Reporting notes (having, in one way or another, deliberately or otherwise, avoided proper studying from 4.30pm to 12.00am) in a laughable attempt to prepare for my quiz tomorrow. At 1.45am I stopped, and I decided that I should just play a few games of Solitaire and Hearts. Well, everything was great until 2am when sleep seemed a much better option. Hence, I made the decision to complete a game of Solitaire before sleeping.
And so for the next 45 minutes somehow I managed not to solve the darn game. I take an average of 150 seconds to complete one game, so do the calculations yourself, because I’m having my CAT class now and brain usage is simply non-existant.

Omg lah dude how sad is that. I take less than 5 minutes to complete a game. Do you play the one that draws 3 cards at a time, or something?

Woman. 5 minutes? 1.5 minutes is all it takes. The problem with playing 3 cards is that you’re more dependent on luck because certain arrangements are impossible to solve. Bleah.
